In October we have the return of some favorites and then some new beers to enjoy this fall season. Galaxy Wheat Ale first made it's arrival as a keller beer at North Nut but now the finished, filtered rendition has just arrived on tap at North Nut and soon to be tapped at South Nut. This is a beer that offers incredible aromas of citrus, pineapple and passion fruit on a wheaty ale recipe. A bold, bright choice it uses a combination of pilsner, wheat and specialty bohemian malt with a big dose of Saaz and Galaxy hops for a super crushable beer. Rye Lager has returned on tap and in bottles. This beer is inspired by cold weather with a deep golden color and toasty flavor due to generous portions of rye malt & Spalt hops. This unique lager has a spicy rye bitterness rounded out with a creamy finish! If you haven't tried our Citra Leaf Lager it's time to come in a savor a glass or take a bottle home to enjoy. The combination of classic old world noble hops and new world American Citra hop melds together wonderfully to create notes of grapefruit, guava and spicy bitterness. There's still lots of options in bottles and you can always get a growler of your favorite beer on tap to enjoy at home or pick up a keg for your kegerator if you have one. Even though the rain and cool air has settled in you can still be outside at North Nut in our covered, heated outdoor patio. We have spaced our tables 6' or more apart in this open air area where you can enjoy lunch, dinner, snacks and beer anytime 12-8 pm. And we're making a covered, heated area at South Nut too! The cover should be finished by the end of next week so stop by to check it out Monday-Thursday 3-6 pm and Friday-Sunday 1-6 pm. We are watching out for our guests and staff by spacing seating at least 6' apart, washing hands often, cleaning, cleaning, cleaning and offering hand sanitizer stations throughout our facilities. You can feel good that we are watching out for your safety and health! |
