CELEBRATE WITH CHUCKANUT ON ST PADDY'S DAY

---

Make sure to wear your green and come into North (Bellingham) or South (Skagit Valley) Nut to take part in our St Paddy's Day celebrations all month long. We'll have Irish Stout on soon, we've got Irish Stew and Irish Potato Pizza as our soup and local's pizza on our menu now. And soon we'll have our corned beef, cabbage and potato entree to indulge in! On March 17 we'll have live Irish music at 5 pm at South Nut and 6:30 pm at North Nut. South Nut will have the Hillbilly Gyros on hand for the hungry. And of course the leprechauns will get into the Kolsch again to turn it green and remind us of this special day in Ireland celebrating St Pat who rid the snakes from Ireland!

MARCH SPECIAL BEERS

Wow what a selection of new beers we have coming in March! We talked about our Namesake Brewer Series where each of our brewers creates a beer of their choice and first up is our Marine Veteran Rick. Rick's Lager is an orange colored beer with lots of bready notes and orange pithy flavors and aroma from the hops. March sees the release of our Irish Stout similar to Guiness in it's lighter body, sessionable ABV and dark roasty flavors. And Marzen is the German March beer commonly known as the older Oktoberfest Lager. This is a great complicated malty beer with a dry finish. Below we discuss the collaboration beer with our newest Bellingham brewery "Twin Sisters Brewing" being tapped in March!

We will be at several brewers nights around the Sound starting with our gathering at Empire Ale House in Mt Vernon at 5:30 pm March 7. Then we'll have our annual tasting event at Beer Junction in West Seattle on March 8 at 5:30. On March 15 there's a Bellingham Breweries Tap Takeover on Camano Island at Naked City's outpost. Always alot of fun when we get together with our fellow brewers try to stop in to play some games with us. Celebrating beer in Skagit Valley with our first Farm to Pint Beer Week happens March 31-April 7. The kick off event is on March 31 where Chuckanut is paired with Edison Fine Food. Our new Skagit Harvest Ale will be featured. Make sure to join in some of the week long festivities and show your support for beer in Skagit Valley!

COLLABORATION WITH OUR NEWEST BHAM BREWERY

We want to welcome our newest Bellingham brewery, Twin Sisters Brewing, into the fold. To celebrate we have collaborated on Nutty Sisters a mild bitter ale with an amber color that has a backbone of hop bitterness and aroma. This is a traditional English style ale that's easy drinking with a modest strength that allows for multiple pint consumption.
