CHUCKANUT BOTTLED BEERS FOR THE HOLIDAYS

Get ready, Chuckanut Baltic Porter will be released later this month in half liter bottles for holiday giving. If you are lucky enough to get the Baltic and the recently released Bock in bottles you'll have a great selection of Chuckanut bottled beers for the beer lover. Baltic Porter has hints of dark fruits and port-like flavors, coffee and dark plums. Easy to drink due to it's long lagering (over 3 months) this higher alcohol beer is deceptively smooth. Like the Bock you can save it, if you wish, for a special occasion later in the year as it will age well due to its 8.2% ABV. Available at both North & South Nut until it runs out, its also tapped at our breweries and at selected spots around Puget Sound. Ask for it at your favorite place. Our Pilsner & Kolsch are also available in bottles too.That makes a Chuckanut bottle collection  a great beer menu for your holiday table, stop in and pick some up.

HOLIDAY HOURS

Here's the lowdown on our Holiday hours. On Christmas eve we'll be closing food service at 3 pm but will keep the bar open til 5 pm at both locations. Then we are closed on Christmas day but open again regular hours on December 26. If you want to go somewhere before you start your New Years Eve celebrating we will be open regular hours on December 31st and January 1. If you are planning to celebrate with a party of 6 or more the week in between the the 25th and 31st make sure to call ahead to hold a table for you. Hope your Holidays are very, very merry! DECEMBER MENU SPECIALS

Our local specials this December make good use of products from our farm friends for you hungry Chuckanutters! The three bean chili uses Terra Verde Farm butternut squash, nw grown garbanzo beans, black beans, and kidney beans, veggies, beer, coffee, cocoa, ancho chili puree, tomato and herbs. And don't miss trying the Pork Belly Pizza (back by popular demand). This pizza uses our own dough, Claus meats pork belly cured in house with fennel & black pepper, Ferndale Farmstead Mozzerella, fresh arugula, and balsamic. Want dessert? Well don't forget to ask about our seasonal Brulee, we change it up every month or so!

NEWS BEERS ON TAP THIS MONTH

Every month we tap a few beers that are new to the line up. As usual we always have Pilsner, Kolsch, Vienna, and British IPA but the other 5 beers switch around as we run out of the beers currently on tap. We've got some good ones waiting to be tapped so come on in and drink up, that way we can move on to a new beer! Schwarz Lager is waiting in the wings for a spot as well as our Rye Lager. The Rye hasn't been brewed in about 2-3 years so it will be fun to have this spicy lager in the line up again. Same is true of the Sticke Alt, a stronger more alcoholic version of the deep amber Alt that we all love.
